Title I

2023-2024  School Compact for Learning and Parent and Family Engagement Plan

As a Title I school, we create a yearly “School Compact for Learning” a “Parent and Family Engagement Plan (PFEP),” a “School Improvement Plan” and would love your input on these documents and our Title I Budget and Parent and Family Engagement allocation.  The school-parent compact is a written agreement between the school and the parents of children participating in Title I, Part A program that identifies the activities that the parents, the entire staff, and the students will undertake to share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement.  This agreement is developed with input from parents, community members and school staff.  At elementary Title I schools, the compact is discussed during family/teacher conferences.  All Title I schools have copies of the compact in their front office, as well as translated versions.  For a copy of the school compact, please email or call the school.

The PFEP outlines the school’s plan to involve parents and families in their child(ren)’s education through school family events and parent workshops.  All Title I schools have copies of the Parent and Family Engagement Plans (PFEPs) in their front office, as well as translated versions.  For a copy of the school PFEP or district PFEP, please email or call the school.  The School Improvement Plan is also the school’s plan to improve the growth and progress of our students. If you would like to assist in this endeavor, follow the links below to access a brief survey about the current School Compact, PFEP, School Improvement Plan, Title I Budget and PFE Allocation.  Responses will be sent to Jackie Thomas at jacqueline.thomas@polk-fl.net the school’s Title I facilitator, to be used in creating the 2023-2024 School Compact and PFEP.  Please complete the  surveys by March 30, 2023.  If you have any questions, please contact the school at (863)648-3520 or Jackie Thomas at jacqueline.thomas@polk-fl.net.  We look forward to continuing our partnership with you in your child’s education.
