Title I
2020-2021 School Compact for Learning and Parent and Family Engagement Plan
Parents,
As a Title I school, we create a yearly “School Compact for Learning” and a “Parent and Family Engagement Plan (PFEP)” and would love your input. The school compact is a school-parent compact is a written agreement between the school and the parents of children participating in Title I, Part A program that identifies the activities that the parents, the entire staff, and the students will undertake to share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement. This agreement is developed with input from parents, community members and school staff.
At elementary Title I schools, the compact is discusses during family/teacher conferences. All Title I schools have copies of the compact in their front office, as well as translated versions. For a copy of the school compact, please email or call the school. The PFEP outlines the school’s plan to involve parents and families in their child(ren)’s education through school family events and parent workshops. All Title I schools have the Parent and Family Engagement Plans (PFEPs) in their front office, as well as translated versions. For a copy of the school PFEP or district PFEP, please email or call the school. If you would like to assist in this endeavor, follow the links below to access a brief survey about the current School Compact and PFEP after you have reviewed the 2020-2021 Compact and PFEP document at the links below.
